Animal Data Lab began with a simple observation: the data that could transform animal health is everywhere — and nowhere. It sits locked inside individual clinics, scattered across research labs, and tucked away in the records of pet owners around the world. Each piece holds value, but in isolation none of it can reach its full potential.
We believe that when data is shared, lives are saved. By uniting animal health information into a single, trusted, and accessible resource, we can give researchers the scale and diversity they need to make discoveries that simply aren't possible today.

To empower people and researchers everywhere to share animal data — and to build the tools that turn that shared data into life-saving insight.
Where We're Headed
Our work unfolds in three phases: first, empowering users from all over the world to contribute their data into a large database for researchers; next, building a platform for researchers to easily share data with one another; and finally, layering on AI to unlock both sets of data working together.
